HVAC Preventative Maintenance
Don’t let the brutal summer heat or winter cold get the best of you and your HVAC system. Our maintenance programs prevent breakdowns and save you money on your utility bills. With one of our maintenance agreements you will receive from our skilled technicians: two yearly inspections as well as air conditioning maintenance in the spring and heating maintenance in the fall.
Our Preventative Maintenance visits will include:
- Visually inspect and test capacitors for leakage and rust
- Inspect blower wheel
- Inspect blower motor record amp draw)
- Replace filter
- Inspect unit wiring and electrical disconnect, tighten loose wiring
- Check thermostat
- Inspect contactor for pits and burns
- Check and record amp draw of condenser motor and compressor to manufacturers specifications
- Inspect fan blade for cracks or defects
- Check condenser motor bearings
- Inspect indoor coil
- Inspect any condensate drain pans and drains for proper operation, clean drain pan
- Check and record operating pressures and temperatures
- Inspect and water wash outdoor unit
- Check refrigerant level
- Inspect and flush condensate lines
- Check evaporator for adequate airflow
We recommend to schedule a preventative maintenance in the spring and fall. Sticking to this bi-annual schedule will keep your unit running optimally. We offer two different Preventative Maintenance Plans for you to choose from for either residential or commercial.
